What can you do with this degree?

The biotechnology industry is vast, growing, and filled with opportunities. Over the last few decades, the industry has produced innovative technologies that have transformed the lives of millions around the globe. The field focuses on the intersection of biology and technology, leading to a vast array of new products that are designed to make day-to-day living easier. In this context, the biotechnology industry is in immediate need of innovative leaders: professionals who possess cross-functional expertise, combining the skills of a scientist, with those of a business strategist.

A variety of training courses covering different biotechnology domains: vegetable, enzymatic, and microbial-based on the faculty laboratory’s research activities and on close collaboration with the regional professionals will give graduates the possibility of integrating directly into professional life as a research engineer in biotechnology companies. Because this program combines coursework in science and business, this degree can help students find entry-level positions in private research and administration at pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing companies.
